Tomasine Cole was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. She is a trained social worker who possesses a legal education, but has always had a passion for writing. Whether it was writing poetry as a young girl or her angsty color coded journal full of magazine clippings and photographs during her high school years, the written word has always been the form of self-expression she has most enjoyed. After years of wanting to write a novel both as an exhilarating challenge and as a therapeutic tool, her aunt convinced her to join National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) in 2016. Over the next five years, she has continued to write and work on a variety of novel drafts and is currently in the process of querying agents.
When not writing, Tomasine enjoys being an “auntie”, spending time with family, crafting, learning new things, pondering, and watching trashy reality television shows. She battles chronic pain and finds that both writing and reading can help her escape her current reality of pain and endless medical appointments and enter worlds of imagination and perseverance.
